Kira Denney, MS, LCPC, LPC, NCC
Kira is a licensed clinical professional counselor in Maryland and the District of Columbia and holds a masters in Mental Health Counseling. She has an extensive background working as Clinical Director, private practice, non-profit organizations and inpatient settings. Kira specializes in working with eating disorders and human trafficking survivors.
What if life could be lived without persistent doubt, worry and regret? When working with Kira, she will guide you along the path to overcoming life’s challenges. She has a passion for individual human development, processing trauma(s) and the complexity of the human mind and how it affects each and everyone's lives uniquely.
In addition to providing therapeutic services, Kira enjoys supporting other clinicians via Eating Disorder consultation, individual supervision, and group supervision.
Outside of work, Kira sits on the philanthropy board for the University of Central Florida Alumni board, mentors psychology undergrads, enjoys watching football and basketball, and spending time with her dogs and husband. She understands that taking the first steps to seeking help can be both intimidating and overwhelming, but is here to help you navigate your journey.
